Master in civil engineering and researcher at the Road Engineering Research Section of the EMIB research group at the University of Antwerp
Geert Jacobs finished his master in civil engineering in 2016 with a master thesis in the field of road and pavement engineering. After his education, he started as a researcher at the Road Engineering Research Section of the EMIB research group at the University of Antwerp. Since 2018, he combines research activities with a teaching assignment as an assistant. With Wim Van den bergh as his mentor, his research experience is mainly situated in the fields of recycling, and mechanical testing of asphalt mixtures and binders.
